Communities Prepared staff team

The Communities Prepared staff team is based at Groundwork South in Bristol and has extensive experience in delivering community engagement projects.

Programme Manager, Hannah Baker, has ten years’ experience working in sustainability and environmental policy within the charity and university sectors following the completion of an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London. In this time she has successfully managed and delivered a range of high profile European, national and local programmes covering energy, water, waste, transport and green spaces.

Senior Project Officer, Paul Robertson, heads up community training and development for the programme. He brings with him his experience as founder and Senior Coordinator of Bradford on Avon’s multi-role Community Emergency Volunteer group and his professional background in landscape architecture.  

As Senior Project Officer for marketing and fundraising, Imogen Smith manages the programme’s communications strategy and delivery, while also working with communities to identify fundraising opportunities to support their longer term sustainability. Imogen is an experienced marketer and project manager, having worked for both large and small organisations across the charity, publishing and education sectors.
