Natural Resources Wales is the largest Welsh Government Sponsored Body - employing 1,900 staff across Wales with a budget of £180 million. We were formed in April 2013, largely taking over the functions of the Countryside Council for Wales, Forestry Commission Wales and the Environment Agency in Wales, as well as certain Welsh Government functions
Scottish Mountain Rescue represents 24 volunteer Mountain Rescue Teams (including 2 Search and Rescue Dog Associations (SARDA), Scottish Cave Rescue Organisation and the Search And Rescue Aerial Association – Scotland (SARAA – Scotland) with over 800 volunteers.
Mountain rescue team members are on call, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to recover climbers from precipitous crags, reunite lost walkers with their pals and ensure injured and sick casualties are safely delivered into vital hospital care.
GoodSAM's "Instant-On-Scene" is enabling emergency services to open any caller's mobile phone camera (without the need for Apps such as Skype / FaceTime) and instantly LOCATE and VISUALISE the scene/patient. This enables better resource deployment and earlier care.
Anderby Volunteer Emergency Response Team (AVERT) is one of 157 community groups throughout Lincolnshire who have come together to ensure they can deal with a flood or a major emergency in their community.
The BoA TC CEVs are group of volunteers drawn from our local community who wish to help others during times of severe weather, civil emergency, or at large scale events in the town.
Using a military approach, we create order in the chaos caused by disaster, deploying teams of highly skilled volunteers to provide life-saving aid to those who need it most
