We’re excited to be attending this year’s Flood and Water Management Expo 13th - 14th of September as part of the Community Flood Zone. This year, the Expo has rebranded as part of the Environmental Services and Solutions at the NEC in Birmingham.

Navigating the Waters: Discover Innovative Strategies and Solutions at the Flood & Water Management Expo 2023

This two-day event is dedicated to water management, treatment and emergency response sectors and includes multiple high-level attendees across technology, support and research. The expo is organised in collaboration with esteemed organisations such as ICE, CIWEM, British Water, CIRIA/Susdrain, and more.

This year they've run the National Environmental Services Survey which signifies an ambitious effort to understand and address the most pressing environmental concerns at a national. This survey revealed many useful insights which can be read in full here, including a consensus of wanting to combat greenwashing, and that only 11% of environment professionals believe that the Government will meet its goal to decarbonise the economy by 2050.

Get Involved

We’ll be at this year’s Flood and Water Management Expo to discuss our offer and hear about the priorities and concerns facing you, your communities and the communities you work with. We are thrilled to be part of the returning and expanding Community Flood Zone, an initiative we have developed with other flood specialists with the explicit aim of centring the public in the discussion around flooding.

We encourage you to come with your questions, concerns and needs and help to shape the priorities of flood services. Your contribution to the conversation is vitally important and will enable us to continue this initiative beyond this year. So do come and say hello and discuss how we can work together.

Stay tuned for further exciting announcements from the Community Flood Zone throughout the summer! Do contact us via email with any questions in the meantime.
