Utility Volunteer Discussion Session

The session where we will cover some of the trickier areas of utilities volunteering through a discussion led workshop including answering questions you may have.

This one-hour online session is part of the online utility volunteer course which you will need to complete beforehand. Register or login and go to the learning space (all free).

Event Privacy Statement

Groundwork South manages and runs the Communities Prepared programme. As both ‘Data Controller’ and ‘Data Processor’, Groundwork South safely collects and processes the data you provide upon registration. The data you provide in registering for this event will be shared securely for the purpose of legitimate interest with the following partner organisations:

  • The Environment Agency
  • Sarah Rose (the independent evaluator for the Communities Prepared programme. This is for monitoring and evaluation purposes to improve community volunteer engagement and training across the UK)

Your rights in respect to data processing

You are entitled to request us to erase any personal data we hold about you under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We will do our best to respond promptly and in any event within one month of the following:

• Our receipt of your written request; or

• Our receipt of any further information we may ask you to provide to enable us to comply with your request, whichever happens to be later.

How long we retain your personal data

We may retain your data for up to ten years, after which time it will be destroyed.
