This third webinar in the Yorkshire Series provides guidance for CEV Coordinators and Lead Flood Wardens in managing their groups.

Leading a group of volunteers during an emergency can be a daunting experience, even for the most experienced. This 3rd session in the Yorkshire Series provides guidance for CEV Coordinators and Lead Flood Wardens on managing their group, maintaining volunteer engagement and how to integrate or build upon partnerships with the wider emergency response structure.

Join this session to build your knowledge on a range of key topics, including

• JESIP working principles

• Writing risk assessments

• Managing volunteer debriefing sessions

• Organising training sessions

As well as giving advice on managing a group during an emergency, the session also provides tips on setting up a group and running training sessions, based on first-hand experience from CEV groups This builds upon the first webinar in the series on Incident Management Parts 1 & 2.
