Promoting the activities and support offered by a Flood Warden or CEV group can have a number of benefits for its development, including recruiting new volunteers, identifying wider funding opportunities and creating local partnerships. However, as volunteer groups with limited resources, finding time to dedicate to this can be challenging. This session provides guidance on how to kick-start marketing and communications efforts, with tips to building the group’s profile within the wider community. The webinar will be supported by the Environment Agency’s East Midlands Flood Resilience Team.
Join this session to build your knowledge on a range of key topics, including:
• Defining the group’s identity and developing key marketing messages
• Using social media to promote the group’s activities, with tips on using Twitter and Facebook
• Messaging and communications before, during and after an incident
• Designing a logo and promotional materials
Who is this for?
