This final session in the series focuses on the longer-term sustainability of Flood Warden and CEV groups through fundraising.

This final webinar in the East Midlands Series focuses on the longer-term sustainability of Flood Warden and CEV groups, offering tips and guidance on identifying and securing funding opportunities. In particular, it will look at how volunteers of Flood Warden and CEV groups can utilise and showcase their local expertise in funding applications to successfully generate income. The webinar will be supported by the Environment Agency’s East Midlands Flood Resilience Team.

Join this session to build your knowledge on a range of key topics, including:

• Identifying and setting out funding requirements

• Understanding the different types of funding and how to prioritise accordingly

• Writing and submitting a funding application – from setting out the project and justifying the need to identifying the core activities and creating a budget

Who is this for?

This webinar is aimed at Flood Warden and Community Emergency Volunteer groups based in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and other counties within the East Midlands but is also open to:

Community organisations, Town and Parish Councils and those working in community resilience within the area.
