Since 2016, Communities Prepared has been supporting community flood and emergency volunteer groups to develop their confidence and skills in order to better prepare for, respond to, and recover from, the local challenges that they face. Initially focused in South West England, we are now working with groups across the country, in a range of different communities facing a variety of risks. You can read about some of these communities’ experiences below.
Do you have an experience to share that other communities could learn from? We’ll be adding new community stories over the coming months so please get in touch to tell us your story and keep checking back here for those of other communities.
